Our Vision

A Community of Hope

Opportunity &
Equality for All

We envision a future where no family in Pittsburg, Antioch and surrounding area's has to worry about basic needs. Through consistent weekly support, special seasonal events, stronger partnerships, and practical expansions like dedicated food and clothing containers, we envision serving more families with greater efficiency—reducing waste, preserving fresh produce longer, and distributing essentials with even more generosity. Our ultimate goal? A community where every person experiences the transforming power of kindness and faith, knowing they are valued, supported, and loved by God and their neighbours.

Our History

Our Humble Beginnings

Our story began humbly in November 2019 with simple food pickups and small distributions—just a few people wanting to help.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the need in our community surged. We responded by turning our home garage into a distribution hub, serving hundreds of families during that difficult time.

Those early days of loading bags and handing out groceries shaped who we are today—showing us how even modest efforts can make a big difference.

Our Growth

Stronger Together

Opportunity &
Equality for All

As more lives were touched, we quickly learned a powerful truth: alone we can do good things, but together we can do so much more.

We began building deep, meaningful partnerships with local churches and organizations—coming together around a shared passion for helping people in need. These collaborations didn't just add resources; they multiplied impact, expanded our reach, and brought new energy to every outreach.

Today, those relationships remain the backbone of our ministry, allowing us to serve consistently and respond quickly when need arises.

Our Year-Round Commitment

Giving in Every Season

We believe generosity should be a way of life, not just a holiday tradition. That's why we pour love into our community all year long through special events that bring joy and practical help:

  • Thanksgiving Food Drives — Providing everything needed for a warm, celebratory family meal

  • Back-to-School Giveaways — Equipping students with backpacks, supplies, and confidence for the new year

  • Easter Celebrations — Sharing the hope of resurrection with treats, activities, and messages of new life

  • Benefit Dinners — Gathering as community to enjoy fellowship while raising support for ongoing work

  • Christmas Toy Drives — Making sure every child wakes up to gifts and the wonder of the season

Our Weekly Presence

Here When It Matters Most

Opportunity &
Equality for All

Hunger doesn't take weekends off, and neither do we. Multiple times a week, we host open food giveaways, offering fresh groceries, produce, and essentials to anyone who needs them, no questions asked. We know that consistent, reliable support builds trust and makes the biggest difference over time. By showing up week after week, year after year, we're not just addressing immediate hunger—we're walking alongside families through hard seasons, offering nourishment for body and soul.

Our Expanding Capacity

Growing to Give More

As God has faithfully provided, we've been able to grow in practical, sustainable ways. We're especially grateful for our dedicated containers—one for clothing and toiletries, and others for food (including refrigerated units to keep produce fresh longer).

These expansions mean less waste, better organization, and the ability to accept and distribute larger donations—ultimately allowing us to say "yes" to more people, more often, with greater generosity and care.
